This excellent wartime NCO Schirmmütze Visor Cap was a well manufactured visor. It is fabricated in Luftwaffe grey blue wool, with wide black wool cap band, plus three rows of deep royal blue color piping for the Medical branch (Waffenfarbe) around the circumference.

The peak visor cap retains a perfect, high quality, aluminum pin Luftwaffe eagle with swas as well as centrally mounted aluminum oak leaves with cockade. Chin strap and buttons are still present and in excellent condition. The visor is a classic gloss pattern with no crazing.

The body with its deep royal blue piping is in excellent shape. The size 55 liner has the champagne color rayon interior with the celluloid moisture shield intact. The tan sweatband is in good supple condition with two areas of separation.

This is an excellent totally honest Luftwaffe Medical NCO peaked visor cap. Hard to find a much better one!
